Finger Puppet

Finger puppets are a nostalgic keepsake to remember each Nutcracker year. The finger puppets have been part of San Jose Dance Theatre’s Nutcracker for as long as anyone can remember. Dancers’ families generally select the finger puppet(s) for the roles that their dancer has been cast for the production, each year adding to the collection. Some families display their collection in picture boxes, while others display them as a holiday decoration on their Christmas tree. Because each finger puppet is handmade, the puppets must be ordered well in advance of the performances.
